Shirts! We need to talk about shirts.
It's time to talk about shirts.
Do you guys like the BarCamp shirts? Or do you send them off to shirt Valhalla by setting them in a burning ship across Lake Michigan? What? I am being serious.
The fact is, our commitment to free shirts has been a big expense for BarCampMilwaukee. I love shirts. The Milwaukee shirts are some of my most beloved t-shirts. I think there should be shirts.
However, the choice we face, BarCampers, is one of finances. Do we want to spend some money on shirts, when we could, instead, have better food at one of the meals? It really comes down to an either or conversation, and if it's left to the cabal, I fear that apathy may just mean we don't have a t-shirt this year. We could _double_ the amount of money we spend on Saturday night's dinner if we didn't buy shirts.
So here's what we need: A T-Shirt Czar. One person can make a difference. The t-shirt czar gets a small budget to spend on as many t-shirts as they want to. And can create that t-shirt experience pretty much anyway they want to.
Wanna be the t-shirt czar? Join the Cabal! Your input is needed!

Hooray for Mr. Whil! T-shirt
Huzzah!
Hooray and Huzzah!
Now... what about the art?
We used to have some loose guidelines:
Thr front has to have "BarCampMilwaukee" somehow (should also have a "5") and the back needs to list all the sponsors names.
Anything else?
@Mr. Raster.I agree. I want

I think there should be shirts
Dear Gabe, I like the BarCamp shirts. Here's an idea...
People submit designs to the The Shirt Czar.
The Shirt Czar picks one. (Or asks others to help pick one.)
The Shirt Czar gets them printed. (Bucketworks, as "fiscal sponsor" writes a check.)
They then get handed out to people who come to BarCampMilwaukee5.
Also, it would really be ideal if the back of the shirts listed the sponsor names, as that is typically something we tell the sponsors is going to happen. So actually having it happen would be a good thing...
I would print no more shirts than the number needed to fulfill those who registerted on the site and indicated they would like a shirt. (Before the deadline, which is TBD.) We could print shirts for sponsors, but I'd leave that up to the Shirt Czar to decide. (Many/Most sponsors are also attending, and probably don't need 2 shirts.)
